Explore: Sharing our Marriage Treasure with Young People

Pope Francis said: “Marriage is a symbol of life, real life: it is not fiction. It is the Sacrament of the love of Christ and the Church.” (14/09/14) The Explore Program which originated in Westminster England, has been trialled in the Diocese of Armidale for the past five years. The program sees married couples go into Catholic
High Schools to answer students’ questions about their marriage. The young people they encounter are inspired by what they share of the reality and lived experience of their marriage. In addition, the couple’s relationship is richly blessed by their generous participation in this work together. These married couples share the treasure of their marriage with hundreds of young people. It is time that the treasure of the Explore Program is now shared with the rest of the country.
