Derek & Karen Boylen
Renaissance of Marriage Talk:
Derek is a marriage counsellor and Director of the Centre for Life, Marriage and Family; an agency of the Archdiocese of Perth. He is also a sessional lecturer for the University of Notre Dame (Fremantle) in the Discipline of Counselling. Derek serves on the board of Fertility Education Australia, an organisation that distributes federal funding to centres around Australia to assist with providing quality sexuality, health and relationship education for schools and community groups. Karen is a practicing Speech Pathologist and home-schooling Mum. Together they are developing a marriage enrichment program for couples who want to experience, in new and deeper ways, the joys of becoming one body in faith. Derek and Karen have been married 18 years and together they have eight children, two dogs and one cat. They enjoy curry and red wine.
