Robert Falzon
Robert Falzon is a husband, father, businessman, co-founder of menALIVE and published author.
He is married to Alicia for 34 years and has 4 children; Isaac (30), Matthias (24), Chiara (21) and Shem (19). He has a degree from the University of Newcastle, NSW and is a successful business owner.
He has been awarded many business accolades including: —Australian Marketing Institute– Marketer of the Year, Telstra QLD Small Business of the Year, Australian Institute of Management– Owner Manager of the Year, Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist. He has also been a judge in the Telstra Small Business of the Year Regional and National Awards and the Telstra Business Woman of the Year Awards Regional and National
In 2007 Robert sold his primary manufacturing business to focus in a full-time volunteer capacity on ministry to men through menALIVE. He still is involved and owner of a few small private companies: —Enviro Framing Systems International Pty Ltd, Minnis and Samson Pty Ltd and Tables and Desk Pty Ltd.
menALIVE is a National Catholic Ministry to Men. Since the founding of menALIVE in 2003, this ministry has delivered 350 events in 26 Diocese in Australia and NZ for more than 20,000 men. The purpose of menALIVE is to bring men together, to renew their faith on God and to encourage them to become an active force for renewal in the Church.
In 2011 Robert had his first book published. With more than 2500 copies of “How to Grow a Men’s Ministry” in many men’s hands and in every parish in Australia, this has become a very useful resource. He has also completed his second book co-authoring with Dr Peter O’Shea – “The Father Factor” which was published by Connor Court and release in the second half of 2014.
Robert is a Catholic Lay man with a passion for finding effective and powerful ways to bring the message of the Good News to the good people in the parish pews and the street. HeeHeH is a powerful speaker and a preacher with a cogent message. He has the ability to encourage a call to action from all who hear him.
